With 10 years of experience, Canada Star Art Academy is committed to cultivating artistic excellence in young artists and designers. Staffed with top art and design instructors in the Greater Vancouver Area, it is able to offer all AP art and design courses, build portfolios, and prepare ambitious secondary school students for top art schools. We pride ourselves in maintaining a 100% application success rate for the top art and design colleges in the world, including London College of Art, Rhode Island School of Design, Emily Carr University, and many more.
Part Two College Prep
Familiar with art school admission requirements, our teaching staff is able to orient their lesson to prepare and help students find their interests and field of study. Our team will supervise and guide the students from the start to the end of their projects.
We pride ourselves in leading students in the exploration of art and design majors through the study of theory and practice, while encouraging them to showcase their abilities in all kinds of international competition.
Cooperate with local middle schools to offer 4 art-related AP classes with school credits, we offer these as off-schedule for-credit courses. These courses can be reported to the college for GPA/ Admission average calculation.

Art Events
Our Art Academy also hosts many art events, among them, there are portfolio days where students can meet with admission officers, there are art competitions, workshops, and silent auctions. See below for details. Also, follow us on instagram to be involved.

Part Three Instructors

David holds a Master degree from University of Toronto and an honours Bachelor from the University of British Columbia. He possesses years of experience as an architectural designer and as an instructor at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. He has worked on architectural projects in a variety of contexts, including those in British Columbia, Ontario, Europe and Africa.
He has experiences and achievements in 3D design and digital fabrication. With these qualities, he is able to provide effective learning and development opportunities for a spectrum of students. His former students have entered world-renowned schools.

Diana holds a Masters degree from UBC and a Bachelors from the Alberta University of the Arts. She is an artist and teacher with years of experience working in the creative arts and education. In 2010, she started teaching art, and has cooperated with creative agencies such as Photos Unlimited Canada and Art Bank. She has experience in teaching painting, pottery, photography, and solid art skills.
Along with her educational background, she is able to apply systematic educational theories to her art classes. Her educational methods are highly favoured by students.
