Introduction
At Canada Star Academy, our G8 – G10 courses give students a chance to sample a broad range of skills. These are skill based courses with heavy emphasis on practical projects. Altogether, the courses help students explore post-secondary studies opportunities, our program will open them to a world of creative careers.
Our students are from diverse backgrounds, from complete novice to seasoned professional. Our instructors structured the classes to scaffold the learning with personal projects. Skills you will learn as beginners
3D Composition
Gain the ability to create models, characters, landscapes more in 3D space. Develop intuitive knowledge of texturing, lighting, and camera work.
Acrylic Painting
Create masterpieces in a myriad of surfaces from canvas to paper, wood and more using water-based acrylic paints.
Basic Sketching Technique
Acquire the skills for contouring, blending, and hatching. Create dynamic expressive images with nothing more than pencils, charcoal, or other simple tools.
Colour Composition
Develop a keen eye for colours. Combine, arrange and rearrange colours to breathe depth and life into your artistic masterpieces.
Digital Painting
Enter the realm of digital artistry using tools and software to create breathtaking masterpieces. With ease of editing, mistakes no longer shackle your expression.
Oil Painting
This is an age-old technique that employs oil-based points to both paint and sculpt your masterpiece.
Plane Composition
Arrange simple shapes and images on a plane to create expressive masterpieces. Tell everyone who you are using nothing more than lines on paper.
Printmaking
Sometimes communal enjoyment is part of the art itself. Learn to design, and create matrices and templates to spread your masterpiece.
Sculpting
Tell stories through the tactile medium of clay, stone, wood and many more. Turn mundane objects to extension of your imaginations.
Structural Sketching
Visually communicate architectural and engineering ideas and plans. corporealise abstract ideas and concepts using techniques that allow others to understand easily.
Watercolor
Breathing life into your creation through the use of transparent, water-based pigments, balancing the flow, colours, and gradients.

Anime
Create your own adventures, tell your own stories using the well tested amination style and techniques originated from Japan. These expressive styles breathe life to any stories.
Animation
Unleash the magic of creationing motion images through the sequencing os frams, from 2D hand drawn characters to cutting edge 3D computer generated models.
Architectural Design
BLend the creativity with technical acumen to create aesthetically pleasing designs. Marry materials, space allocation, and colour to create tones and atmospheres for the users.
Architectural Model
Create architectural models to both communicate and materialise plans, ideas and concepts. Use this skill to make a dream home a reality.
Fashion Design
Make a noise and be as loud as you humanely can, without saying a single word! Create clothes and accessories that function both as comfort utilities and as your physical manifestation.
Film and Television Interior Design
Lights! Camera! Action! Use your behind-the-scenes artistry to add emotions and thrills to your scenes. The stage is yours to command, make it perform with the actors!
Graphic Design

Illustration
Most good books have 2 story tellers, one is the author, the other is the illustrator. Using digital tools and traditional tools, you are able to breathe life to the events of the story.
